We'll call it a silver...

While I listed my time as a bronze, I am going to call it a silver medal. It was not what I was hoping for, but it is a 40 minute PR and I'll take it. I'm just glad I finished. It was touch and go there for a while...

**Edited***Here are the results:
Splits: 10 Km Half 21 Mile Finish O'All Sex Div
Times: 55:18 2:00:03 3:24:01 4:16:10 3997 1243 149
Pace: 8:54 9:10 9:43 9:47

I'll post a race report later.

Yay, great job, Lisa! While it may not have been what you'd hoped for, I think you have to admit that any marathon finish is an amazing accomplishment. And hey, a 40-minute PR is nothing to scoff at! Congrats, congrats, congrats! Can't wait to read the official report!

Congratulations, you did terrific!!! (And you beat Oprah :) and obviously kicked Katie Holmes' ass :)). I was thinking of you when I went out for a run.... I didn't leave until 9 a.m., so you were already several hours in. We probably finished at about the same time though!

Congratulations Lisa...I was your stalker this afternoon and saw that you finished. Try not to be too disappointed in your time. 40 minutes off a PR is nothing to sneeze at!

I cannot believe I missed you. I know you were ahead of my friend Santiago by a couple of minutes, but we had been standing there for at least 10 when we saw him! (GAH!)...like I said in my blog, I was cheering for you whether I saw you or not!

Congrats!

That really is a huge PR! Congratulations!

I was sending you positive vibes as I was running! I knew so many people running the marathon this year, and I was glad to be a part of it, too. I hope our running paths eventually cross!

Lisa, I got your text message this morning, sorry I did not write back. I'm so proud of you.

And when you do qualify for Boston, don't worry about paying for a place to stay - Bill and I have already decided you're staying with us!

(So I should be expecting you next April, right? There's still time!)

4:16 is awesome, really!
