Pictures from my Sunday run

I completely forgot that I had stopped several times to shoot pictures on the way back down the HILL at Torrey Pines on Sunday. I only had my phone with me, so they aren't the best, but you can understand the beauty of the area. As I said in my last post, the only good thing about the race in a few weeks is the incredible scenery. I certainly won't be stopping to take pictures on the 26th.

Enjoy!

The golf course at the top is absolutely gorgeous. You may recall that the U.S. Open was held there last year. We run right by it during the race.

While I am very nervous about the brutal race, I am also looking forward to it. For all the people who have told me that they hated it, the same number have told me that they love it. I think (hope) that I fall into the latter group. Such a challenging course with such wonderful vistas should leave me with a sense of accomplishment and wonder.

Happy running everyone!

Lisa - those hills look brutal! But just think of the sense of accomplishment after you show those hills what you can do. :D You are going to kick ass!

Wow, it's gorgeous there. I think you are definitely up to the challenge of this hilly half! I love that there is a Triple Crown or whatever. I'd succumb to that marketing scheme, too!
