Of course, I don't have little ones to take care of at home and Bill has learned to fend for himself. I do tend to snack a lot during the day and usually the hour before I run, I try to eat a clif bar, and then of oourse have some gu, and a lot of water. I usually don't get to start running until 6:30 or 7 by the time I leave work and then drive to wherever I'm going to run.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7918472490658203767.post-27177564124611922522008-07-01T19:34:00.000-07:002008-07-01T19:34:00.000-07:00I usually run at night. It seemed to work fine for me and I plan on doing that again for tonight's run!

Plus I just tell my husband it is "fend for himself" night. Of course, I don't have kids to worry about in that regard either!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7918472490658203767.post-80250884187806729572008-07-01T12:45:00.000-07:002008-07-01T12:45:00.000-07:00Its okay to skip the morning run. I know the dinner dilema all too well. Usually I eat a light lunch at noon, followed by a cliff bar at 3pm and then another cliff or power bar when I leave work around 5:30. When I get home, the run starts btwn 6:30 and 7. Then after the run I may or may not have a light dinner, but always I will have a cup or two of light vanilla ice cream before bed. What can I say? It's soothing :)Alissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03293550818261265014noreply@blogger.com
